After teasing fans for the past months with teasers, and releasing two prologue singles “What Is Love” and “History“, SM Entertainment‘s latest idol groups EXO-K and EXO-M will finally make their debut through large-scale showcases in Korea and China.
According to SM Entertainment on March 23, EXO-K and EXO-M will hold showcases together in Seoul and Beijing, each at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park on March 31 and Beijing’s University of International Business and Economics in China on April 1.
The Seoul showcase is particularly meaningful because it marks the 100th day anniversary of the group’s online promotions, which focused heavily on video teasers.
The 12-member group were divided into two teams, EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K, which “K” stands for Korean, will be pursuing their activities in Korea with Korean version of the song “History”, while EXO-M, in which “M” stands for Mandarin, will be promoting in mainland China with Chinese version of the song.
The unit EXO-K will be comprised of members Su Ho, Baek Hyun, Chan Yeol, D.O., Kai and Se Hun while members Xiu Min, Lu Han, Kris, Lay, Chen and Tao will make up EXO-M.
